We arrived in the early afternoon after a long journey from New Zealand without much sleep. We were met by a friendly face and able to access our room without delay. We woke five hours later much refreshed and ready for dinner. We asked for a wake up call and a taxi - both were provided without fuss. Our room was clean and comfortable. Check out was speedy and trouble free.
The apple juice was a bit anaemic.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and provided all the information needed.
Breakfast menu. It was same all 3 days I stayed. I suggest come with some alternate menu so the people who stay more than one day does have a different options.

My hotel room was very noisy could here all passing traffic during the night,my little girl was woken during the night, by the noise.

Staff were most helpful. Parking arrangent was good - although not as good as free!! Breakfast - timing, provision, staff etc. - all excellent. Room clean and beds comfortable.
No BBC News 24. Missed that facility.

Its very central and this is the 3rd time I have stayed there and find the staff very helpful and its quite quiet which for a city centre hotel is good these days.

Hotel was close to where I needed to be, Staff friendly and pretty helpful
Could be cleaner, my room did not smell good. Breakfast needs attention, breads were stale, yogurts too warm, no ice anywhere.

The hotel is located very off center. Information 10min walk to the center is misguided (required 20min) Hotel excellent m all other respects.

Good price.Within walking distance for rail station. Friendly staff and nice range for continental breakfast.

The SECC is only a few minutes away by taxi.
