We liked the location of the hotel, it was easy to find off the motorway and easy to park in the car park opposite. It is within walking distance of the centre of the city with lots of good bars and restaurants surrounding it, lots to see and do. The reasonable price for a nights stay, makes it affordable for any one to pay a visit and explore the city.
There is nothing we could complain about concerning our stay at the hotel. We marked down on comfort and facilities but that isn't because there was anything wrong, we think it was about right for the price we payed for our room. We know that space is always a problem in cities, but we think that it would be a massive improvement if the hotel had it's own car park or could do a deal with the owners of the car park opposite to provide cheaper parking for hotel patrons, as the £13 we payed for over night parking hurt a little bit.

The staff as always were wonderful.
The security gent was a little ott when we arrived back late on at night.

Very quiet room despite central location no traffic noise at all. staff friendly and helpful even when Sunday morning breakfast was extremely busy

We had read a review in Trip Advisor and therefore expected the worst! found the staff very pleasant, the rooms clean and the location convenient
Would have been nice to have had bacon on the breakfast menu

Breakfasts were very good & just about enough room in restaurant at busy times. Room was clean & adequate size.
On arrival, I had just started to check in when the receptionist took a phone call (there were no other members of staff there to do this for her). The call lasted almost 15 minutes & I was left standing there. Not a good first impression. Reception always seemed to be under-staffed whenever I passed there.

Good cenral location, easy to get to.
Very noisy room, could hear traffic until the early hrs and music from the bars across the rd until the early hrs too, no one slept well. We have stayed in a lot of centrally located hotels over the years but this was the noisiest by a long way.
