THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND CLOSE TO THE UNDERGROUND.
THE HOTEL NEEDS A MAKEOVER. THE ROOMS WERE OLD AND WORN. NO ONE HAS A SINK WITH SEPARATE HOT AND COLD FACETS SO THAT YOU CAN WASH WITH WARM WATER. THE RUGS WERE WORN AND THE TV WAS OLD. WHO DOESN'T HAVE FLAT SCREEN TVS ANY MORE. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED IN THE ROOMS BIG TIME.

Staff were friendly.
So many staff speak very poor English. I had my order in the restaurant taken incorrectly. Although apologies were made and I was given a free starter, I would have preferred to have my order taken correctly in the first place. The poor young girl was just looking at me wide eyed and confused when I said "spaghetti with tomato sauce". She smiled and nodded but I knew she had no idea what I had said. Sure enough, it didn't arrive. But even the rest of the staff, in the restaurant, the reception staff, the concierge. All nice and friendly, but very poor english.

The situation is very convenient. The rooms are a good size and comfortable.
I found the competition for food at breakfast time rather unedifying. I withdrew from the cooked breakfast scrum.

Hotel very central. Good bus and underground connections.
Hotel is starting to look a bit tired, and the bathrooms could do with renovating.
