Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow City Centre

Overall I had a enjoyable stay. The free use of Greens gym was the reason I chose the hotel over others. This was excellent. A very modern new gym with a pool. The hotel is not very old so very clean & modern. There is free use of the internet via a Apple tv/ entertainment system which can play DVD's, listen to the radio or watch various digital tv channels. They also have DVD's you can borrow from reception to view with no restrictions. I stayed in a disabled room for some reason & had a river view. The bed was very comfortable.

We found this hotel met our requirements in full. I was disappointed that the tariff for our 2 night stay was considerably more than other family members and friends who had breakfast included in their tariff. Our hotel bill for accommodation and breakfast cost us £51 more than the others. This is why I scored value for money low. I would like to stay in this hotel again but only if the accommodation included breakfast.

Lovely stay - staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely location overlooking the river clyde.

Great place with great views only spoiled by the bar where there were regular queues of up to 20 people waiting to get served.

Too be honest the best thing about it was its situation near the SECC.the room which was a double was quite small had a nice view over the clyde my breakfast the first morning arrived after my husband had fininshed his and not really worth £12.50 ea.when we arrived back fronm the concert we were at there was a tremendous queue at the bar i would have thought they would have expected this.we had to queue for breakfast the 2nd morning also felt like we were back at school for dinners the tables were that close together.therewas not enough seating in the bar and resaurant we did try sitting outside but just not quite warm enough.

Very comfortable night. The service was excellent and the staff could not have been more pleasant.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay and well worth every penny. Usually stay at The Plazza but never again. Will certainly be back!!
