Always like the location and rooms
On this one occasion, the last time i stayed in the hotel your hot water failed and i couldnt have a shower in the morning. No apology, no explination no nothing. really dissapointed and very angry as i had a really important meeting the who day. was not a happy man i can tell you.

The river view, the quietness in a central city location. Proximity to other restaurants (short riverside walk away), as well as SECC 2 mins across car park. Room was spacious and very clean. Free computer and internet access was very welcome too - found lots of local info useful for our next visit!
Lobby sitting area is a wind tunnel - too cold for comfort. Minor detail - we went into the bar area to sit instead.

We stayed at this hotel because its perfect for the secc (2 mins walking) and not too far from the city centre and is really easy to get to from the motorway staff are very good and polite all the time and the breakfast was lush
Its just a small thing really but the room was really hot at times couldn,t get the air con to go cold so we just left the window open all the time and turned the fans off on a night(could have been our fault not how to do the air con)but never stopped us enjoying the weekend

Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Room was comfortable and clean
Breakfast was disgraceful both in content and service. So much so that I didn't pay for it. Have had better service and content at the cheapest most basic B&B establishments. Also had to go looking for bar staff on arrival to get a drink. Hotel loses my recommendation based on poor restaurant and bar
