voco St David's Cardiff, an IHG Hotel

A really comfortable, luxurious hotel, with very attentive, polite staff and excellent spa facilities.

Service excellent; staff could not do enough to help, with the one exception of the young woman who did an "introduction" to the health club. She spoke far too rapidly and might as well not have bothered. The design of the hotel is fascinating and the location of course unique. Food was excellent although dining room too crowded at breakfast -tables too close together. Spa facilities excellent, although the exercise pool is too small and on one occasion was not being approproiately used by some guests - rowdy games with a beach ball.

A fantastic hotel with friendly staff. Situated in a good position on the harbour.

Room was comfortable but tired eg divan had no valance and tiles in bathroom were loose on bath panel. This was not a 5 star hotel - I believe it has recently been downgraded.

Staff were attentive. Food was good. Given that our bedroom was upgraded on arrival, it was a little disappointing - not a 'wow' - in that it could have been any standard hotel chain.

Will go back.

We had a very comfortable stay in the St David's Hotel, the health spa was fantastic, clean, very relaxing and friendly. The staff were very courteous and accomadating

WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL FOR A TREAT AS IT WAS MY WIFES BIRTHDAY.THE EVENING MEAL WAS TASTY WHEN WE GOT IT BUT THE STAFF WERE SLOW AND LEFT US WAITING FOR DRINKS WE EVENTUALLY GOT THEM HALF WY THROUGH THE MEAL.THE DINNING ROOM WAS NO WHERE NEAR FULL SO NO EXCUSES THERE. WE ORDERED BREAKFAST IN BED FOR A TREAT AGAIN,BUT NO JOY HERE,THE BREAKFAST DID NOT INCLUDE WHAT WE ASKED FOR,AND IT WAS COLD WE DID NOT EAT ANY OF IT AND RETURNED THE BREAKFAST,WE DECIDED TO LEAVE STRAIGHT AWAY,WE WERE DEDUCTED THE COST OF THE EVENING MEAL AND BREAKFAST BUT IT WAS ALL TO LATE MY WIFES BIRTHDAY HAD BEEN RUINED.
