Room ok . only had one towel in bathroom , so had to ring service for extra towels bath mat had seen better days, room full of flies had to use bug plug. breakfast was ok daughter had bad egg tasted and smeeled of fish. glad we only paid £89.00 for room. would not class as 5 star......

Very disappointed with check in at the hotel. This stay was a gift to my elderly parents and I was looking forward to a 5 star experience however was told that our room was not ready. My parents room was and although I had asked for a twin room they got a king room saying that they had been "upgraded". The receptionist offered a complimentry coffee in the bar while we waited for house keeping to finish making up the room. After waiting 3/4 hour for the room and seeing hoards of other people checking in I asked if the room was now ready. They seemed to have completely forgotten about us. First of all they tried to give me someone elses room with the same name and then once I made it clear who I was they then had to ring house keeping to see if the room was ready. They then told me that the in room safe was locked and this had to be emptied before we could go in the room. They told us another 5 minutes but another 15 minutes passed and still no room. I went to ask again to be meet by the same confused receptionist who again did not seem to remember us. Eventually the concierge took us up to the room to open the safe and show us to the room. What a surprise - the safe was open and nothing left inside. I thought the service was exceptionally bad for a hotel that is rated 5 star. I will not be staying there again.

Cannot fault any of the services provided by the hotel, poor information provided by your website in relation to disabled parking, the parking is free. Some people would criticise the blandness of the entrance hall, perhaps it needs some works of art to adorne the walls
