I had a problem with the room door and one of the staff members tried to help immediately. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They always said good morning and checked if we needed anything.

Sometimes the staff were doing 2 or 3 jobs and it took a while to get a drink from the bar (maybe a staff person was ill) but this was a minor inconvenience. Strangely one could not see if the hotel was open or not as the windows were tinted and dark and you could not see internal lights on.

The central location in Ypres was excellent for us, yet our room was quiet. The basement carpark was handy and moving round in the hotel was easy. The reception staff were always very helpful.

On occasions the service in the restaurant could have been better(more welcoming)

Very good hotel, great location, nice and clean hotel, staff friendly, stayed previously would recommend

We stayed over new year, advise to book in for meal as all pubs and restaurants close unless you have pre-booked in so we ended up eating in a pizza takeaway :(
