I travel with a party of 8 on battlefield walks and we have stayed at the hotel the last 8 years,every one in our party would not stay enywhere else,it is superb and the breakfast is the best.Can not fault it.

Very near the centre

It was not very clear what to expect for the buffet breakfast as opposed to the continental breakfast. We finished up paying 20 euros for a roll, juice,jam and a coffee. Had we known the continental had to be ordered in advance we would obviously have gone for that.

If having a late breakfast there was not the same choice on some items as once they had gone they were not replenished.

The location was brilliant, right in the centre of Ypres. Car park underground was easily accessible and preferable than leaving the car on the street. Brilliant choice at the breakfast buffet.

We stayed 2 nights,and really enjoyed our stay, the buffet breakfast was excellent,bedroom was clean and very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location for access to the Menin gate,the Cloth hall and the recently reopened Museum, could not have been better as these were all within a short walking distance.
