Först och främst finns det alltid cirka 30 minuter för att vänta på incheckningen på nite. Sedan morgonen de inte ge mig ett vakna samtal som de lovat. Senare på min taxichaufför kom och väntade på mig i 15 min men ingen kallade mitt rum. Vid 7, öppnade någon min dörr med en nyckel-kort och jag klagade när jag checkat ut, men den anställde helt enkelt svarade "Åh, måste det vara en av våra medarbetare" - vad är ditt personalen försöker göra öppna min dörr vid 7 ? Att inte tala om grov toalettpapper.

Vi var tvungna att lämna hotellet enda rum hade svart mögel i badrummet och sovrummet. Hotellet sagt att vi inte skulle tas ut men det är avgiften på vår kreditkort som behöver komma bort. Jag skulle inte rekommendera det hotellet var inte ren.

Det var ren, billig för London men långt från staden på kollektivtrafik. Däremot hade vi också högljudda gäster ovanför oss förrän efter midnatt, och det tog ett tag för personalen att hitta dem och lugna ner dem så vi kunde sova.

Detta är det sämsta hotellet jag någonsin bott i. Jag skulle verkligen inte rekommendera detta hotell till någon. Personalen måste omskolas på hur man kommunicerar med gäster och med personal som talar engelska skulle vara en början. Hotellet är definaely i behov av renovering.

Badrum var inte ren. Room service was very poor behöver ses över. Personalen i receptionen till stor hjälp, men de behöver mer stöd.

My experience with the personnel at the Thistle London Heathrow has been no less than appalling. I can affirm and assure you of my decision that I shall neither make a reservation to stay at the Thistle ever nor will I ever recommend the Thistle to anyone of my colleagues and friends who often travel to London for business. I shall elaborate on my experience in order that you may understand my position. I had arrived in London on 25 June 2009 and I intended to stay only a day at the Thistle,while waiting for a friend who was scheduled to arrive in London on 26 June 2009. We had already booked a flat for us in central London after the 25 June. Unfortunately I had made a genuine mistake in my booking form. My mistake was that I had booked a room on 24 June 2009 to check out 25 June 200, when I has actually needed a room on 25 June 2009 and to check out on 26 June 2009. A genuine mistake which I admitted. Nevertheless the personnel at the hotel was extremely rude. I do apologise that since I did not manage to catch his name, I shall provide you with a description instead. He is not a very tall person, bald and he uses spectacles. As I approached the desk, his first comment was, "yes, what is it?" I am doing a doctorate in Law and I have never worked in public service sectors but I am very sure that is not how a customer is to be greeted. Perhaps the person can improve on his manners. I found myself in this dilemma and instead of offering to help, that same person was focused on pointing out that the mistake in booking was my fault, that no refunds will be made by the hotel and he with crude manners tried to brush my predicament aside to entertain other guests. He was extremely hostile and, unhelpful despite the fact I tried to explain I had quite a predicament since I needed a room for one night. He simply brushed me off and said he had no rooms and no refund will be made. This person showed no empathy to a lady who had just got off a 22 hour flight and his treatment of guests has engraved in my mind that perhaps the Thistle is not a place I would like to stay at anyway. Unable to secure a room, I had spend an entire night at London Heathrow airport. A most uncomfortable first day in London and a most unfortunate encounter with a person who I hope never to meet again. I'd warn everyone to check the dates they had booked since anyone can make this genuine mistake. But I'd warn everyone about the lack of service and manners they will encounter at the Thistle. The staff was extremely unhelpful. These are facts based on my experience. In conclusion, I shall never make a booking at the Thistle again and I shall definitely inform my friends and colleagues of the rude and aggressive attitude of the personnel at the Thistle.
