Staff was friendly and checking in relatively easy in the afternoon, so everything OK!!!

Convenience. Politeness of the staff.

Food prices in Amy's too high. Portions too small and altogether too finicky. You don't need find dining in an airport hotel. Also the shower in the bathroom - pressure poor

Very comfortable beds & a big plus having well known toiletries to use.

Fabulous. First time I have stayed here (NOT the last!) as above rating (10/10) but would just like to add a peaceful comfortable nights sleep and the staff went above and beyond from providing linen napkins and cutlery for our indian take way(apologies not eating in house- just fancied a curry) to the barman giving a complimentary drink on overhearing a conversation between myself and daughter that it was my birthday. Thank you. I have loudly recommended Gatwick Hilton to all our friends and family- perfect way to begin a holiday or say a sad farewell (as in my case !) What an unexpected surprise. Would definitely review on Tripadvisor.

My room, by choice, was on the same level as the Reception, bar and restaurant area. I expected some noise to filter through to my room. However it was totally quiet all the time.

It was Easter Sunday, so maybe problem with staffing and food delivery. However, the buffet dinner, which I ate at 7pm, seemed dried up. Battered fish selection was overdone and not very hot. The cheese board selection was drying out. I had the blue cheese and the brie.

We liked the buffet meal in the evening and also the effort made by the staff to ensure that my wife received gluten-free food.

The location is perfect which is why I prefer to fly from Gatwick as opposed. The lobby area is great for meeting friends as is the costa coffee shop. I enjoyed the breakfast in the garden restaurant too but please tell staff go elsewhere and not to stand directly behind customers to have a conversation between themselves.

Just a minor matter which I didn't report at the time is that the extractor fan in the bathroom was quite noisy and didn't turn off when I went to bed so I didn't have as quiet night as I would have wished.
