CONVENIENCE TO AIRPORT
I HAVE STAYED AT THE PARK PLAZA SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE GIVEN RAVE REVIEWS TO FRIENDS. HOWEVER MY STAY ON OCT. 9/10 WAS A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. THE RATES HAD INCREASED FROM $I08.00 INCLUDING BREAKFAST, TO 138.00 BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED. I PAID CASH FOR MY BREAKFAST ON OCT. 10 AM, WAS NOT GIVEN A RECEIPT, WOULD HAVE HAD TO WAIT,DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DO SO.

Its convenience to the airport!
Checked in and asked for an early morning wake-up call (6.15a.m).
At 3 a.m. we had a phone call and by 4.am. we had 3 more phone calls, each time it was an automated voice, we did report this to the pleasant man on duty as we checked out but got no satisfaction.
Our room was comfortable, but really at an international hotel where tourists to our country are expected to stay, does one expect to go into the bathroom and find an old bra and T-shirt hanging behind the door, presumably left by the previous occupant, clearly this was missed by cleaning staff
and this is just not acceptable in 2013........................

Mostly good experience
The upholstery on the chair in our room was completely worn away and needed to be replaced. This was surprising as all other aspects of the hotel were good.

Friendly helpful staff. Abundant breakfast and freshly cooked fries as opposed to food kept hot under lamps. Gluten Free friendly or coeliac friendly. Room was comfortable and great view of Airport.
