It was clean, quiet and restful after a 14 hour rail journey across Europe and ideally placed and the staff were pleasant and efficient.
I had had a trying 8 hour journey from Zurich on which the train had no catering facilities at all. I was very tired and hungry and did not wish to go out at 8.30p.m. nad look for a restaurant. The food in the hotel was perfectly acceptable in quality but the range of choice was very limited. That was the only downside.
