We enjoyed the restaurant.

The rooms could do with being updated as they were very tired looking.

Pas d'ascenseur. Obligés de porter nos lourdes valises par escalier (il n'y a qu'un étage mais quand les valises sont très lourdes, c'est long !)

Upgrade from the Novotel with new carpets and a freshening up of paint was good. Room is adequate and the 4 bedroom facilities were good. As before, convenient easy location and plenty of good parking. Room was clean and towels were sufficient and clean.

Air conditioning was loud and very ineffective. It wasn't a very warm night but the room was hot and stuffy. Insufficient coffee and milk was provided in the room. Restaurant, which in the Novotel days had a relaxed and easy going feel, was too formal and "stuffy". Menu is not as extensive and again tries to be too clever. It was overpriced. Wine was ridiculously expensive with a very average bottle of red costing€26. You could no longer buy carafes of good house wine as before with the Novotel. Bar prices are VERY expensive, a gin and tonic costs about €15. Service in the bar was very slow with the waitress trying to cover restaurant and bar. We did not have breakfast, but again at €30 for 2 adults and 2 children was very expensive. We have been staying here for overnight stays on our trips to the south of France for 12 years. We will NOT be staying again.
