The breakfast was amazing and even though the hotel was completely booked out the breakfast just kept coming. The pool was lovely and hot - almost like a bath. The rooms were slightly dated but that's the only thing I could say. If getting a family room with bunk beds I'd say push them against the wall to give yourself more room.

It is a very different hotel. Not at all standard. It offers something unique. My friend is a vegetarian and there was only one choice on the menu (mains. The Chef came to our table and offered my friend something else.This was very much appreciated.
More vegetarian choice on mains, notwithstanding my above comments.

It was my 60th birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it special! The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool perfect for families and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The location is perfect for a day at the zoo, but is also close to Winchester if you were visiting there.

Where the Hotel was was fine and near the Zoo.The best bit about the Hotel was the Swimming Pool,Sauna,Jacuzzi.
Yes,the room was so cold and so the bed felt so damp and couldnt put the heating on,in the room.Plus there wasnt much room to sit down and relax in the Lobby.

Brochure says: the atmosphere and the surroundings. You can admire the surrounding woodlands. Room overlooked overflowing rubbish bins & debris. When I pointed this out to reception they thanked me for drawing it to their attention and said they'd deal with it not while I stayed there.

Fantastic location opposite Marwell Zoo. Very nicely decorated rooms, shame mine looked out over a large metal storage facility - the gardens outside the rooms are rather unkempt and this could be a lot nicer as this is a beautiful looking hotel in a potentially lovely setting
The corridor links to the bedrooms were absolutely freezing! The breakfast was disappointing. I made the mistake of using the shampoo conditioner in the room and couldn't get a brush through my hair afterwards
