How clean and tidy the whole place was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. the rooms were very comfortable.
Thought the bar prices were a little expensive, possibly due to a lot of corporate visitors stay here. Also did not think the choice of food on the menu was very good, it lent towards those who have a more select taste rather than mixed with the ordinary persons idea, we found ourselves going out to eat at a nearby pub restaurant where the food was more down to earth.

The evening meal had to be sent back as very cold,. When returned was not still very hot

Ifound the dining and bar staff helpful and friendly.
I had travelled along distance.
It would have been good to have a glass and mineral water in the bedroom on arrival.

The food in the restaurant was amazing - how nice to get freshly cooked food instead of precooked catering food. Stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant both evenings. Good food and friendly staff.
Looking very tired in some areas - in need of redecorating and refurbishing in some areas. The chairs in the bar particularly bad - very stained - did not really want to sit on them!

Not applicable - TV in room was not a great picture on BBC1 but apart from that all ok.

The staff were very polite and helpful
On the Saturday night 1st March there was a wedding in the Hotel the noise was dreadful well into the early hours of the morning this really disturbed my Husband and Myself it totally spoilt what was supposed to be a great weekend for us. I will recommend the Hotel to friends so long as they check there are no functions taking place.
