Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour

The hotel is in a good position for shopping in Southampton or if you are going on a cruise.The rooms are comfortable with all the usual extras.We weren´t very impressed with the food/either in the restaurant or room service.The staff were very nice and friendly.We only stayed one night before flying home to Spain but would use the hotel again.

I enjoyed one night staying in this hotel, the facility was good and it had a friendly atmosphere. Just to mention that for such a hotel I think it is important to have more facilities such as hair stylist and beauty cares. I was invited to a wedding and I had to go to town for hairdresser which I would prefer to stay in the hotel especially when it is rainy. But I can easily say that I had a great time while I was in Grand Harbour hotel.

We had to wait nearly one hour from 7.00 pm to be served with our first course of dinner. This is totally unacceptable.

We were informed free parking, on arrival the concierge said it would be £5 per night whilst we were on the QE2 for 14 nights. There was no Air-conditioning except a very noisy floor-standing fan in each bedroom! We tried having the window on our 3rd floor room open but that was noisier still. The evening meal menu was so expensive we took a recommendation and walked to an Italian restaurant

Please check the complaint that I made when checking out, there was mould on the bread during breakfast, which I reported to the waiter, and the rooms were too hot as there was no air-conditioning, and then you forgot to charge me for the mini-bar and have since sent me an aditional bill (being the rooms are hot maybe a bottle of water would be a good idea!!!!
