Hotel Piran

The Hotel Piran was very good, excellent value for the price, and I would definitely stay there again. The location was, obviously, second to none, and it even had private parking which was reasonably priced. The room also had a great sea view.

Discrete location

This is a typical communist-era built hotel. Rooms are spartan, bathrooms equiped with minimal furnishing (for example we had to bring in a chair from the room to have a place for our bathroom things. ) There were no shelves or drawers for make-up, shaving things, a hair brush etc. The little balcony is useless, since there is no privacy, you can hear every word from the adjoining balconies and practically see all your neighbours at a very intimate distance. One of the receptionist ( I think he was the manager) was very unfriendly, bordering on rude. The entire town of Piran has no hotels with a pool and although hotel Piran is rated 4star, it barely passes a 2 star rating. It is extremely overpriced for what it is. Unfortunatelly, we were told it is the best hotel in an otherwise lovely town of Piran
