Easy to find, good access from/to A1,location just too far from Peronne centre for acomfortable walk, though we did walk it & enjoyed it.Room was comfortable enough, though suffered from some mild dampness and on first entering the room, I was fearful as there was clear evidence that the door had been previously forced and a subsequently poor repair had been carried out on the door aperture, though the door proved to function adequately. My overall experience was sufficient for our needs & I would recommend it to anyone requiring a short or overnight stay, but for me, it would not serve as a base for a longer stay. The main reasons for us choosing this hotel was based on both the rates & the location of the hotel.

I have already sent in a complaint as the hotel was appalling. The bathroom was damp and mildewed, the toilet seat was cracked all round and very unhygienic, the shower did not drain properly, the whole place including the 'fresh' towels smelled of stale cigarettes. There was also only 1 chair for 2 people and the request for a second one was refused. Everything in the room was old and in poor condition. What was even worse was that it was 64 Euro per night - compared with the St Dizier Campanile which we stayed at the night before, which was 44 euro a night and was clean, fresh, well equipped (e.g. 2 chairs, hair dryer, good shower) and was great value for money. We are asking for our money back (we have photos) and have written to france bookings.com to suggest they take this particular Campanile off their website.

The Hotel is set a slightly out of Peronne but still within easy walking distance of bar and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was on the expensive side for the meals that were on offer. Better value to walk/drive towards Peronne where there are several bars and restaurants available. The rooms were comfortable and clean and prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Despite my poor french they were great. The location of the hotel was an excellent base for travelling around the area and this is what we used it for. I would hapily recommend it and will stay there again when in that area.

Stayed one night in July- our party had 2 double rooms. One room was missing the external window shutter and the bathroom door would not shut, both rooms were in need of a lot of cleaning, TLC and redecorating. Decided not to eat in the motel and went into town, had a fantastic dinner.

This hotel is in need of complete refurbishment. We had the same room as last time we stayed here, recognised by the hole in the bottom of the bathroom door. Although the bathroom looked pleasant on first sight, it was only cosmetic touching-up to cover the mould of last visit. The water came through the vinyl floor in front of the washbasin and there was an inch of mould with dirt adhered to it along the edge of the floor. We had to use the towels and bathmat to soak up the water.
