The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room, although it looked filthy, was actually quite clean.
The electricity sockets were hanging out of the wall. The walls were covered with mould (or very ingrained dirt). Although the room was apparently non-smoking, it smelt like stale cigarettes and the walls were nicotine coloured. It really was not a nice place to stay. The man at reception could not recommend anywhere to eat nearby, saying that all the places were closed on a Sunday, which was not accurate as we found a restaurant quite easily. The hotel was basically disgusting and I would not recommend it to anybody.

Easy to find, staff were EXCELLENT and very friendly, helpful and sociable!. Good facilities, dining and breakfast were super. Great place to stay, and convenient for WW 1 BATTLEFIELDS! All round a great place to stay, with very few steps to climb!.
NOTHING TO DISLIKE!.

The provision of clean towels and linen each day. The varied items provided for breakfast.
The room which I occupied (room 20) had a shower head but there was no wall bracket to which it could be attached,such a bracket had obviously been fitted originally, had been broken and not repaired or replaced. The absence of a normal shower facility was disappointing.
