The Randolph Hotel, by Graduate Hotels

The hotel corridors are a maze and you look out the window, as if one is in prison. Hotel only recommended if the price for two Prersonen at 189.00 is per room. On the normal price finger off!

The location in central Oxford was excellent - the concierge staff are excellent and very good ambassadors for front of house - thank you to all.

Disappointed by Macdonald rating of executive room - comfortable but certainly not worth the money. Does not compare with same tariff for eg Hilton Manchester/Lowry Manchester in terms of furnishing and value for money. Recently stayed at Macdonald Old England, Bowness which is why I chose to treat my husband for his birthday at the Randolph - the room was also a long walk away down meandering corridors so overall the experience did not live up to expectations. (Brilliant spa at the Old England - heavenly!)

The hotel is centrally located and easy-it's great service was helpful staff - they've got a great cut and helpful consiege - which helps with everything from bus tickets seats to the bike rental - took delivery of rental bike to your door within half an hour - a great way to get around town at breakfast was very good - but do not bother with the English breakfast - expensive and mediocre but good continental breakfast.

This property is for poor cared for - the maintenance is ok - the rooms are nice but to be so expensive hotel so lacking in all the fine details - small hooks where it was hung a fine picture, and stood some great furniture - they were like just crammed together random things - it is clear that there is not a human but a sense of detail work here, there is also a bad smell throughout the hotel - maybe kloak problem. I tend not to stay in expensive hotel but as the mother of little children on a trip I would spend on me a bit of luxury - and I was disappointed - it was not a luxury feel, and it was almost impossible to get the newspaper at breakfast - terrible! - Select again another hotel or a cozy bed and breakfast.

I really appreciated the little touches (box of chocolates on the bed), and especially the cooked English breakfast is included in the price.

Old rundown hotel that absolutely can not live up to be 5 * old smelly rooms without cold water.
