Best Western Hotel Hermitage

No problems or complaints at all. Although drink prices at the hotel bar were a bit high.

Nice location, impressive from the outside and friendly staff. Interiors in common parts were nice, but rooms less impressive, but perfectly functional.

Quick check in,good size rooms next door to each other as requested at booking. Rooms a little dark but lovely big bathrooms.

The hotel presents an impressive exterior and an unpretentious interior. The first floor room although small was adequate for a short stay, was clean with comfortable furnishings. The en suite shower room was also very clean and well decorated. The room faced onto the central square with a picturesque view. The hotel is ideally positioned for a visit to the town - everything within walking distance. Staff were all polite and friendly and we were acknowledged and greeted everywhere within the hotel. Breakfast was expensive but is also expansive and unlimited - ranging from simple 'continental' to 'full English' and all points between! I would not hesitate to visit again.

Polite staff, impressive building, good location close to restaurants. Good breakfast, (a bit expensive if paid for separately). If planning to eat at Hotel in evening book a table as soon as you arrive especially on a weekend as restaurants in town get booked up quickly. The curtains in one of our rooms were torn. Hotel grounds slightly down at heel.

Overall a good hotel, breakfast a bit pricey for what was available, staff at reception helpful.
