Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport, an IHG Hotel

1) Nowhere signs indicating the direction to the hotel aangaven. (However, the competitor Novotel and Ibis). We have one hour laps around and around the airport. It seemed that the ramp to a gas station and had to take on an unpaved piece of land had to maneuver to open the hotel to come 2) The kettle caused a short circuit. It was said that they would provide a replacement copy. After waiting hours and returned to the reception for clarification were told that they had no replacement. 3) The ventilation in the bathroom did not work. It was like a sauna after use of bath / shower. 4) The air conditioning in the bedroom was noisy, so off, then drove up the heat almost from your bed. 5) The bathtub sat on the floor a pattern of flowers, thus seem surprising that it was an anti-slip mat. Unfortunately, purely decorative. Dangerously so. 6) The plug was missing for the bathtub, so showering was only possible and just prayed it was not possible. 7) The rate was inclusive of breakfast. But the breakfast could be served only from 7:30, well and when we were already one hour into the plane home. Alternatively one could not offer, we would be able to get coffee or tea ... 8) I think it's misleading in the name of this hotel (Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport) Airport is the word used. I would have expected the hotel to the airport is and you do not first get a taxi or rental car you need at an early date (in our case, 05:00) to come.

Close to airport. free breakfast.

No food available after 10pm when I arrived from a flight and needed a meal. Had to order really bad 'telepizza'. Carpets in hallways stained and old--made place seem unclean. Why can't there be a hotel shuttle to airport from this hotel since it's so close. Taking taxi at night on weekend made it unnecessary to stay in this hotel since price of taxi was the same as going to the center of town, even though hotel is 5 mins from airport. Most decent hotels by airports (even other Holiday Inns) have an airport shuttles. I was really disappointed in this hotel and will never make the mistake to stay in a Holiday Inn again.

Is very close to Malaga airport. Hotel with modern decoration.

The surroundings are not pretty. Is a transient hotel, near the airport.

Hotel is easily accessible by city bus for the exit of the airport is! Cost of this short ride: € 1.10. On foot to it is impossible! The hotel itself seems quite new - the immediate area is a 'pit' to as it is currently working on a new viaduct.Geeft, like the ring road before, not a nuisance when the windows are flowing closed. Breakfast is simple but otherwise ok.

Note - in the immediate vicinity of the hotel are missing in several places on sidewalks and manhole covers (dead end) road. Not off! Please be careful if your evening just outside a walk to make ..

Even with it being so close to the airport it was very quiet. Continental breakfast was good.

Trying to find the hotel was difficult. It was not marked very well and it sat back from the the service road which was part gravel.

Very smartly appointed rooms, especially nice bathrooms - only there overnight and it was ideal.

Having said it was 400 metres from the airport, it was if you are a pigeon; it was a E20 taxi ride to get there.
