Very friendly helpful staff and comfy room. Handy for bus from station and to airport.

The locality coupled with the good service

The air conditioning was broken and the room was unbearably hot . This was reported to the staff . This is the reason for the low mark in comfort .

The location .

However unless you were in a car,arriving by shuttle bus you are faced with a steep climb to get to the hotel entrance. Certainly not suitable for elderly clients. The duty managers manner ,in a busy environment was not customer friendly.

Quite frankly, of ALL accommodation, we have stayed in throughout Europe, UK and Ireland, this relatively small hotel, was very clearly THE BEST. We found ourselves TICKING ALL THE BOXES for this one. The facilities generally, were excellent; bed, first class, staff friendly, efficient and always eager to assist with requests/and/ or inquiries. Manager, (PAUL) personally, on several occasions responded to our requests, ie without even pausing to delegate to another member of staff. Finally, on the all important matter of tariffs/costs, both management And Staff, or certainly all senior staff, appeared to have and indeed exercise a capacity to offer extremely competitive rates.

Seldom, will, this column be left blank, but in regard to this little Hotel, we are most pleased to merely add, that we could not find ANY downside in respect of this property. We would recommend it, without any equivocation whatsoever. Perhaps the only reason for hesitation in submitting this testimonial, although perhaps somewhat paranoid, is that the ultimate consequence may give rise to a shortfall in available rooms, due to dramatically increased patronage by the readers of this testimonial !

The room was comfortable and clean.

At breakfast there where 3 trays of glasses for the fruit juices and I couldn't find a clean one, clearly there was a problem with the dish washer and no quality control. The sausages were like chewing cardboard and tasteless. I did say to the reception and I think she did go through to the kitchen.
