The Jangle Hotel - Paris - Charles de Gaulle - Airport

Very helpful staff within the hotel, but see below for comments on shuttle driver.

The shuttle driver insisted on dropping us all off at Terminal 2, even when I told him I was catching an international flight through United. It was very time consuming for me to find and get to the proper terminal. By that time, the check in line was very, very long and I didn't have time to buy food for the flight beforehand as I had planned.

Chose this hotel as it was convenient for an overnite prior to taking a flight back to Canada. Have sent an email to hotel as my husband left 2 pairs of mens pants in closet, but have not had a response as yet. (48 hours later) Room stay was 233 on April 18 out on 19th.

Our toilet was mal-functioning but the staff repaired it very quickly.

Location and free shuttle to airport.

Shower leaked and flooded our bathroom every time we used it. When we pointed this out to management they offered us a different room only after we insisted on a new one. The one they offered us was even smaller than the one we where in. We also noted to management that this smaller room had the same shower issue. We stayed in the same room we origionally had. Management never offered us any other type of room. Our room key failed to open our door and when management came to open the door for us they said the battery was dead and so they changed the batteries in the locking mechanism.(I was the one who changed the batteries) the lock never worked for our card even after the batteries were changed. We now moved rooms - to the smaller room with no air conditioning. Our son in the new room used the bathroom and when he went to leave the bathroom the doorknob fell off in his hand and I was the one who had to get him out. The management did not offer to fix the door as it was now late at night and there was no one in the building to do the work. We were left in th e same room. When I complained to the front desk the offered no solutions. I said that the least they could do was buy our supper and wine. As I left the next morning the manager left a bottle of red whine in a plastic bag with no note or anything. I have stayed for years at Radissons in Canada and have had good experiences. Based on this experience I may want to look at the competition in the future.

Check in staff rude and unhelpful. Listed as a business and conference center but I had to travel to Sheraton hotel to have a business contract copied and sent via courier. Shuttle bus did not run according to posted schedule. Ron was filthy, dated and dingy. Mirrored closer door was broken with sharp mirrored glass protruding out (dangerous). Toilet was broken, flush stuck so toilet water ran constantly, three of the plugs did not work making charging of computer and cell phones difficult. Over all hotel was in need of refurbishing it was dark and dirty in the guest hall ways. When I approached front desk staff about Carlson club she was unfamiliar with it and when asked about nearby restaurants and amenities she said she had no idea what was I. The area. Would not stay again

I was very disappointed in the shuttle to the airport. I waited for two shuttles that filled up immediately. I ended up having to order a taxi, which was almost taken by another group. It was a very stressful end to my trip because I almost missed my flight.
