The Gatwick White House Hotel

I normally stay at either the Corner House or the Acorn Guest House which I find are adequate for my needs but the prices at the time of booking were comparable with some of the Hotels, pricey, but for £36.50 a night plus breakfast the White House was far more reasonable plus the pick-up and drop off service for the terminals was quicker.

Not really, I will certainly be using the White House again providing they keep their prices reasonable.

Comfortable beds. Efficient airport collection, but it wasn't made clear that one had to pay extra for early delivery back to airport.

Food poor. Hotel in need of refurbishment. Our room/bathroom was not clean. We had to ask for towels. Although a cooked breakfast was included, there was no one available to cook it and no other staff were available to ask what was happening. All the staff are in need of training in the hospitality/hotel industry.

Good staff, good location.

Breakfast hrs. a little short.

Staff are nice and friendly, ready to help any time. Food is fine, freshly cooked.

The only problem is location, the hotel is quite far from the railway station.

The convenience of an airport pickup

The corridors were very narrow for carrying cases. There was no lift for elerly people to carry cases upstairs.The rooms were very tight in space and they were not very clean. In addition the bedlinen was damp.On check in I paid the fee including a Full English Breakfast.In the morning when I went for breakfast there was nobody to take the breakfast order so I along with several others had to make do with a continental breakfast. After we had this we went to reception to get the bus to the airport and there had anargument with the staff member who dissagreed with the time we requested the bus. He also informed us that some staff were late and that was why we did not have a full english breakfast. He refused to refund us the difference in money saying that we could now have a full breakfast. I pointed out that we had fininshed but he insisted that if we din not avail of the full breakfast then we would be at the loss for the money.

Proximity to Gatwick airport and free pick-up.

Costs for the transfer to the airport before 08:30. Could be more cozy.

Nothing was liked during the stay

The bedding was dirty, the room hadn't been cleaned,the food was awful.

Easy process.
