The town is climatically the best of the island. The apartments are really delicious and rural puliti.Il disponibilissimo and friendly staff. The location is an excellent base for exploring the island and is located in the immediate vicinity of the National Park Garagonay.

Those who holiday in La Gomera will want to learn about this most interesting and varied island and not to have a 'posh resort' holiday. This is an excellent touring base - though of course driving around the island is of necessity a slow business! We felt welcomed by the staff and the locals and most people spoke some English or German. The view from our little balcony over the banana fields among the craggy hills will be long treasured, and we were fortunate to be there for the Corpus Christi procession from the little church to the town square with its amazing paintings in coloured sand.
