The surroundings of the hotel is superb. The rooms are very comfortable and very well equipped for 4 people. The common areas are also quite friendly.

The kitchen is poorly equipped but no, it does require a microwave. Expand more hours of breakfast and that force you to get up early.

Nice and cosy apartment with a good view to the valley.

Unlike mentioned in the bookings e-mail, the reception only opens at 4pm (not 1pm), and closes 7pm sharp. At least in the wintertime. The personnel speaks only Spanish. They claim to have WiFi, but it does not work too good. I eventually had to go to the reception room to get connected.

The staff (maintenance and waiter at breakfast): very friendly and helpful.

There were leaks in our apartment. It would be desirable to reform because it was very nice and cozy.

Beautiful mountain scenery. Bus stops outside - we did not hire a car this visit. Personal welcome from all the staff. Good shop down the road. Pleasant lounge downstairs.

The road works were noisy during the day - but we quite understood the necessity for widening this section of road as visitor numbers to La Gomera increase.

The breakfast and staff Gofio Mill. Not much variety, but is fine and serving staff is friendly and helpful.

When we arrived the reception was open but empty. After calling the two numbers and wait half an hour we came a lady who could not find our reservation. We requested a crib, and we pulled out a broken crib storeroom. Later he found another in better shape, but in another storage room full of dust and moisture. The sheets showed stains and inside the cabinet had used kleenex. The mattresses are spring and has long exceeded its useful life. The sensation is of having slept in a tent in the bush campaign, but much more expensive. Upon leaving, although the opening hours was 9-7, even at 9:40 one had not arrived and we had to leave the keys in the mailbox. The pool or watched it and breakfast is located in another complex (with better looking, since it is the photo that appears in the page) to 5 minute walk along a road with no sidewalk or shoulder. From what you see on the page to what you find is a big difference. The gorge and the views are magnificent, but under the balcony the banana become tailings with various baths and debris thrown into the ravine by the swarming rats in the light of day.

The apartment was reasonably comfortable and had a 2 ring cooker where we could make food. They booked us a taxi on the last morning which arrived on time.

There was no-one at reception when we arrived despite it being during opening hours, and we were expected. We had to phone up to tell them we'd arrived. There was a strong smell of varnish which seemed to be coming from the headboards of the beds. We had to walk 300 metres down the road to another building for our breakfast which was included in the price.
