Galway Bay Hotel

The staff in the hotel were very pleasant and helpful and the location was great.

Service at breakfast was poor and iunattentive, I had to wait over 20 mins for coffee and toast each morning, long after "breakfast" had been eaten. Mistakes in a wine order were treated peremptively and no apology given.A tray used to serve food in the conservatory was dirty with old food.The location is excellant, although I wouldnt want a room on the south side in summer as they overlook the funfair.when trying to book a treatment in the spa I had to "hang around" for 10 mins for a member of staff to arrive(clutching theur lunch).

Rooms are in need of updating. Our first room had a horrible smell. It was a non-smoking room, but the furniture or carpet may have captured previous smoke ordors. We really suffered that first night, as we were told that there was no other room available. Our room was changed for the last two nights.

Overall a great two days. Your staff are a credit to you...so pleasant and helpful!

I stayed 1 night recently with my mother for a wedding and can positively say that I will definately go back. I really enjoyed my time there and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were very friendly. unfortunatley for our stay there the weekend our shower was not hot at all and there was no pressure,to me a shower is very important on a holiday.

Stayed on business to run a seminar. Checked in by a very friendly receptionist. I Met duty manager, most helpful and efficient. Assured me re. fllowing day event. He was on hand to oversee equipment,catering etc. and to escort out participants to lunch. Your staff are a real asset to the hotel. Will be returning in December and a number of occasions in 2008 for further seminars. Attended wine tasting and enjoyed very much.
