Suncliff Hotel - OCEANA COLLECTION

It was ver expensive for a jaded, old fasioned hotel. The room was from the 1970's , the TV remote ahd no back and the bathroom was like that from a council. The hotel was very nosiy, the only saving grace was the fact that it was clean.

A very pleasant stay, staff very friendly and made to feel welcome. location was superb and hotel room had a wonderful sea view, menu was excellent with many choices and food was great.the room was very clean and comfortable and the best hotel I have visited in Bournemouth so far. would certainly make a booking again and highly recommended.

Ideal location, both for beach and local events. Staff and service excellent. Hotel in need of some maintenance and modernisation. Would definitely stay again.

Avoid this hotel. We booked a family room for 4 though only three people would be using the room. On arrival we paid for the room but were taken to a family room for 3 with a view of the next door hotels wall. We asked for the difference to be refunded but were refused. In addition further requests by email have also been refused and they have even claimed that they gave us a room with a sea view which supposedly costs more, I cannot even find this option on the booking website. This hotel is totally lacking in customer service. If you do want to take a chance then make sure you pay with a credit card to give some protection because once they have got your money you've had it. Not impressed at all.

Good location,hotel could do with a revamp,especially bedrooms looked very tired.Staff were exellent and very pleasent.Having a indoor pool was a real bonus but again needed some attention.
