The Imperial Hotel

Staff very friendly and helpful.Great location for beach and shops,bars etc.Good value for money.

Perfect location, away from the noisier south end.

Had a lovely stay at the Hotel, quiet room. Helpful and friendly staff and large car park.

Definetly not one that I would go back to. down and not the staff. If you like contemporary designs, this would not be the hotel for you. We booked a family room - 2 adults and 2 children and although it was a little small, it was sufficient as we were out and about most of the time. The hotel was clean and tidy and we were accomodated on our early arrival but it would not be enough to make me want to go back to it. As the 2 children were in buggies, access in and out of the hotel was difficult as it was "steps only" into it and we had to lift the buggies up and down. My main problem with the hotel was the extortionate prices that were charged for food and drink. I am from Ireland and thought that the prices were expensive her but it was way over the top for adequete food. In general, I felt that the overall experience was just "ok". I would not be running back to it.

Beautiful old stately building, comfortable, clean & every mod con, good parking & easy walking to all other facilities

If you require comfort this is the place to stay, i would rather pay a little more knowing you get the extra comforts

Very good excellent staff very helpful. Parking is provided but when busy it is diificult to get a parking spot.

Good std at winter rates. I would not be prepared to pay full room rate.
