It was a great experience to sleep in a Botel, the city ferry travels every 30min in the weekend and is the perfect connection between the botel and the city center. The botel was very tidy and cosy, the breakfast was great and was refilled nonstop, i trully recommend the hotel to everyone, who would like to spend a weekend in Amsterdam.

The breakfast, the stuff helping us....what would you like more than that

Amstell Botel was basic but clean and friendly, breakfast was good staff were friendly

STAFF WERE FRIENDLY ROOMS WERE BASIC BUT CLEAN AND VALUE FOR MONEY
THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY POOR AS THERE WAS REALLY NOTHING IN THE AREA, THE SETTING WAS CHANGED AFTER BOOKING, WE WERE TOLD BY FRIENDS WHO STAYED PRIOR THAT THE PREVIOUS LOCATION WAS MUCH BETTER

Great location near train station, fairly priced, adequate breakfast, good mattress,near 7th floor of excellent library where moderately priced food is purchased -- with grand view while eating. Room is about as small as a room can get and shower is tight in space. I'd stay there again. Good choice

Canal cruises including candle light cruise. Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh world class Outstanting public transportation system. Other city tours. Everyone speaks English

THE BOAT HOTEL IS VERY SIMPLE BUT SUFFISANT IT'S A PITY THAT THE BATHROOM IS SMALL. THE LOCATION IS VERY GOOD

A great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere central. The rooms are very basic and the bathrooms are tiny, but you can't fault the place for it's cleanliness. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Staff were absolutely lovely.

Fun experience of staying on a cruise ship it's a great novelty.
There's a lot of building work going on right next to the Botel at the moment and being woken up at 6.45am by the noise wasn't a great highlight! Also our room was right next to the cleaning cupboard, and perhaps the staff should bear in mind that the walls are very thin and it sounds like they're standing next to the bed chatting.
