Proper connection to the center of Amsterdam (via ferry). Breakfast plentiful but quality improved

Very good, quiet hotel, we have already several times stayed at the Amstel Botel, we'll definitely be back

The tourist office says is wrong or your hotel, because the boat is at home is faster than the bus

Bad enough

Excellent hotel, have been there many times before, even going to it on the ferry didnt take any time or effort. Good to see the same staff every time we go (usually once or twice a year) which says a lot for a hotel. Even when the ferry does not run there is an excellent mini bus service which we had to use when leaving early for the flight home. Would recommend this hotel very highly and have done so to family and friends.

Basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast but more than one option of breakfast cereal would be nice: not everybody likes corn flakes! Also, local evening meal options are limited - "Kantine" is expensive with poor chice of menu. Why not extend Botel dining to accomodate evening meals. Certainly the most unusual view from a hotel window seeing an ex-soviet navy submarine !
