I expected the hotel rooms to be non smoking. However there was an ashtray in our bedroom ans a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the fabric of the room. I had to use my asthma inhaler as I have an allergy to cigarette smoke. I must say I was surprised that smoking is still allowed in hotels in Ireland The staff were lovely and most welcoming Kind regards Mary
