The receptionist was delightful and when she realized it was for my wedding night she upgraded us to a corner room with amazing views and a fourposter. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. when the car arrived to take me to the church I was carefully supported down the steps and handed my bouquet with a flourish. All in all a lovely hotel to remember.
Parking on the sat night was impossible but it was carnival

This is the fourth year running we have spent a week-end at this hotel and we have always found this to be of the highest order. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you again next year.
The only drawback is the parking facilities but we have not had much trouble getting somewhere to park albeit maybe a little distance from the hotel.

We had booked a 2 night stay but only one night was on the computer. the staff were extremely helpful and up graded our room to a 4 poster.
Bathroom needed cleaning, the overflow in sink was very dirty. The breakfast was not good quality and we had to ask each morning for tea/ coffee as no one approached us on both mornings.

The bed was comfy and the style of the room was nice
The jacuzi didnt work the was a big crack on the mirror on the wall by the bed breakfast was warm and tough as if it was left out for too long i have also phoned and reported that i left my Nokia phone charger there and my wifes make up roll with brushes worth over 60 pound and the manager still hasnt got in touch

Nice friendly atmosphere, and plenty of places to sit and relax either inside or outside.
Not really although our meal in restaurant on Saturday evening was a little disappointing given the price we paid.

Very good waiter in Restaurant - Nothing was too much trouble
Car parking a nightmare. Too many stairs and lift not much use as you still had stairs on the same floor. Not for elderly or disabled persons. Barman not friendly had an attitude seemed determined to pick a fight.

I found the staff extremely cheerful, helpful and courteous at all times, from reception to waiting staff to housekeeping, especially the waiter John, who really cheered me up during my evening meal! The room I stayed in was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious.
I feel the hotel could do with some newspapers in the lounge and restaurant. The music system needs some attention, and the floorboards are quite creaky, my sleep was disturbed by guests in the room above me walking around in the early hours.

The staff more than just looked after our comfort, the enjoyed giving us a good pleasant time on our very special occasion. Our room was exactly as discribed and very comfortable if a bit hot. The meal fine and well served especialy the wine waiter.

Location was excellent. Staff at reception were very helpful.
Bedroom needed redecoration, had splashes of coffee(?) up the walls. All a bit shabby really.
