Treacy's Hotel Waterford Spa & Leisure Centre

Hotel had a intense heat in corridors. no cold water from taps reported to staff on first day nothing changed.air con not working properly in one of the rooms we booked. Had to walk out of the hotel round to the back to get the lift to our floor. Or take a lift to 2nd walk corridors and stairs then get a lift to 4th floor

I did not realise that Sunday was classed as midweek? I stayed Saturday and Sunday night, although Sunday was very quiet, the lovely staff made up for any downfall, Many Thanks

The bathroom had a window and the view from the room

There should have been a sheet on the bed as well as the duvet cover

Pool and spa

Breakfast was poor. Car park is two blocks away closes at 10pm

Room very nice, hotel facilities very good, there was a wedding on the day we were there and the hotel was very busy but we had a very nice stay. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, pleasant and efficient, she gave us details of restaurant, bar, spa, car parking etc. Bar-excellent, Breakfast - excellent. Again our receptionist at check out was excellent.

There was quite a mix up with us ordering our dinner and the waitress really was not willing to listen to what was ordered - another staff member did approach us later to enquire what the problem was but as we had allready started our meal at that stage we said it was ok, the original waitress did not revisit our table to enquire if we were in need of desert/tea or coffee, we called another waitress who provided us with additional drinks and we retired to the bar. We would have to give the waitress credit the following day as she approached us at breakfast and enquired if we had a good night and advised us that hotel was hosting christmas party that night if we were interested, this was not easy for her as I am sure she got the vibe the previous night that we were not too happy- well done to her. Unfortunately I also left an item of clothing after me and called the hotel twice Sunday & Tuesday to enquire and my phone no. was taken on both occassions but I have still not received a response, it was not an expensive item (Top) but I feel a call to say it was located or not would have been courtesy.

Smoke alarm goin off in the middle of the night a few times, because someone lit a fag in a non smoking bedroom.
