It had vacancies in the location required at the date needed.
The corridor between rooms on the upper floor on the way to the room had a truly oppressive aroma of stale smoke. I thought smoking in public buildings was banned in Ireland. This was almost enough to cause us to retreat and leave. It has to be attended to. This renders a functional hotel almost unacceptable and certainly not an experience to be repeated...

Location
The disturbed night when your drunken guests ran amock at 3am!!!! This lasted for almost an hour and totally disturbed my rest and the whole experience. The absence of a phone in the room made it impossible to complain to the duty manager without having to run the gauntlet to get there!
