Denham Grove

In the reveiw I have excluded the incident with the room cleaning service. On June 3rd the door of my room (32) was visible left open. Even if I did not leaft valuable pieces in the room, I experience this as a serious fact and reported this to the reception immediately.

Just there one night. All OK

I have stayed in many hotels and travel a lot as part of my job. I normally stay in the Ethorpe in Gerrards Cross as my children live in Chalfont St Giles. However, after staying in your hotel, yours will always be my first choice when in the area. I found your hotel, excellent in every way. Warm, comfortable, value for money. I am a critical person and honestly could not say a bad word about your hotel. The staff, without exception are very helpful and friendly. I have stayed in other DeVere hotels and found them nothing special. Well done to all !!!!

The room allocated to me on arrival had not been cleaned - the bed was unmade and clearly used, TV still on, lights on in bathroom. Definitely not the comfortable welcome one reasonably expects. In fairness the woman on reception was most apologetic and I was given another room down the corridor but it left a very bad taste

The hotel at the time of my visit was being refurbished, however despite this the hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. my room had already been refurbished and was of a high standard. I'm sure that when i next stay (Late August 07) the referb will have been completed, i,m looking forward to it.

Quite comfortable hotel in a very enjoyable countryside where you can walk, more pleasant than Heathrow surroundings for instance. The swimming pool is very enjoyable

This is a reasonable hotel with a good Gym and swimming pool. The restaurant now provides room service. You are in the middle of no where so if you have no transport there are no alternative restaurants without a taxi ride into Denham.
