Hotel Izan Trujillo

Es un hotel muy céntrico y perfectamente ubicado. El personal del hotel muy amable, las habitaciones son fantásticas y las instalaciones son acordes a un hotel de 4 estrellas. Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana con amigos y he de decir, que si volvemos a Trujillo volveríamos a elegir este hotel.

In general I liked everything. THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE, LARGE AND COZY ROOM, THE FACULTY WHERE YOU TAKE SOME VERY NICE, THE PERFECT LOCATION.

The only downside is it is very difficult to park

Parking expensive. The staff recommended the restaurant La Perdiz. Here on Friday November 5th at 20,30 we were served by a femaile waitress in her 30-ies, who was very persistent when asked for her recommendation of a wine to go with our chosen dishes. She insisted that the best choice was an expensive wine, although we asked for alternatives of better economy. She then sneered at our choice of a cheaper dessert, and finally she charged our bill with some 15 Euros per glass of Jerry Manzanilla, possibly pretending a mistake between the price for a glass with the price of a bottle. When discovered after leaving the restaurant, we went back and got the money back from a another waiter, no excuse given.

I booked this hotel because it was located not to far from the motorway on our way from Lisbon to Madrid. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was so much more than just a place to sleep. We wished we would have had more time to stay to enjoy the ambience of the hotel. It is very charming and has so much character. It is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in.

The mystical atmosphere you breathe when you're in the cloister and stroll along the corridors, you feel relaxation and inner peace, which in these times is appreciated.
