Holiday Inn London - Sutton, an IHG Hotel

Excellent room, comfortable and spacious. Clean and modern bathroom, except the range of toiletries was too limited, shampoo and bath foam only. Now that we have our toiletries confiscated at the airport, more people are relying on what they find at the hotel, especially on weekend trips. I would have been disappointed if I'd not brought small bottles of what I needed. A 2-in-1 shower/shampoo gel would have been good. The breakfast was varied and filling, my only complaint here would be that it was not clear if you were expected to refill your own coffee cup or ask a member of staff to bring over the coffee pot. The restaurant was kept clean despite the number of tables being vacated all the time. Managers seemed to be (a) present, and (b) making sure the staff kept clearing and relaying tables. The bar had a reasonable selection of beers and wines, the disco on the Saturday night was not too loud, and ended at a civilised hour. Staff were efficient and friendly, and many seemed to be from the surrounding area, which is a plus.

Generally good overnight stay. Tea and coffe facilities hidden away and only found when leaving. Reception were a little unclear on the bill when leaving some miscommunication on their part. Otherwise Ok. Oh, apart from the Christamas party that could even be heard on the 3rd floor!
