For the price, the hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were genuinely friendly and were allowed to talk naturally, unlike many places where they have to use corporate greetings which only serves to irritate both staff and punteres. This modern hotel is well laid out with fast and smooth lifts to al floors. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and would certainly have no hesitation in using it again.

The hotel is awkwardly situated in the middle of a busy roundabout, but I suppose the city council prefers to collect business rates from the hotel, rather than having to spend money on planting flowers on them like they do round our way. I'm pretty agile but would imagine it's quite difficult for those less so, arriving by foot. There was a party of six of us. We were going to have a few drinks in the hotel and then a meal, but the noise of the football on the TV in the bar meant that we went round the corner to Wetherspoons (The Giddy Bridge) for our drinks and meal instead. Perhaps it's just me, but if I'm going for a drink, I prefer to be able to speak to speak to my friends, rather than competing with whatever's on TV or having their choice of music foisted on me.

The housekeeping was very good

No porter service , no small bar in the room , no room service & no small vault in the room

I requested the bill I was told that the issue had eurobooking but I did not like the way I was told just so friendly that I have not even asked for the points because I thought as I answered chhissà
