The location of this hotel was very good for what we needed. The grounds and swimming pool were excelent.
This could be a stunning hotel but the staffing level was far too low, only ever one person on duty. Staff should have agreater local knowledge of restaurants bearing in mind dinner is not served at the hotel. The room could have been cleaner and require attention to decor! Wallpaper peeling off the wall was not good.

The value for money, the friendliness of staff, willingness to check out later were gratifying.
The bathrooms need improvement, because although there have been improvements, there are certainly others to do and that only benefit the Hotel

Friendly, traditional and good value
Just one thing. It is cold in Portugal this time of year. The bed coyuld have been aired!! Presumably the hotel is quiet in January/February.

I was very unhappy, as the pool was closed due to a problem of cleanliness, so I had no opportunity to enjoy fully all that was right. I was not given any information or warning of the problem in advance and had to pay to stay without any rebate, which should have been done in my opinion, because I also chose this hotel because the pool and was not rewarded because of your service has failed in this part.
