Miramare the Palace Hotel

A good location, comfortable old-fashioned holiday hotel. Many interesting paintings on the ground floor.

An old worn-out hotel building with a touch of past glory. Interesting interior and staff rihgt out of early 20th century, but with a modern twist. Nice atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. Never seen anything like this before. Highly recommended for those, who are bored to stay in mediocre hotels. Fascinating, but expensive.

The most modern thing about the hotel is the price,don't know who does the star ratings but im guessing it's at least 30 years since this one was 4 star,it was once obviously quite grand, ok for a 2/3 day stay pleased we were'nt there for a week, location is excellent though the staff were pretty miserable, not realy value for money.

This is a very interesting hotel - charming and old with lots of antique furniture and little sitting rooms on the ground floor. It looks as though there has been some recent renovation and our room was clean with all we needed. The view was to the sea which was just a very short walk through a private underpass. The clean public beach and some private beaches were very near.

A very good looking hotel, but not suitable for children. It is a pity that is no direct way to the beach.
