The restaurant took a long time to seat us even the restaurant was less than half full. We were not asked whether we wanted a drink, the waiter eventually brought us a menu,which was in French, when we asked about the menu he was rude saying that he didnt realise we were English,which was not true. He then brought us an English version of the menu, and then left us and didnt return for another ten minutes. By this time we had been in the restaurant for about 25 minutes, so we got up and left.

Very quiet location, but extrmemely close to main route through Rouen. Very clean and confortable, excellent room.
The TV provision is not good. I don't expect to have everything in English but I would expect an hotel of this standard in France to have one or two international channels such as CNN or Eurosport or Fox News or something. Eurosport was on the channel list but it did not work. Also the receptionist who received me (both for this stay and my last stay) whilst very polite was not forthcoming with any information such as about dinner for example or breakfast or any words of welcome. I was prepared for this in French but his only words (essentially just telling me my room number and the floor of its location) were spoken in English despite me introudcing myself in French.

Very peaceful setting, good after a long drive, and the room was very quiet. Excellent to have tea-making facilities and fridge for £70, will definately come back if special ofer available

Restaurant comparatively expensive and rushed due to need for second sitting, money, The price and quality was what you expect in London, NO HOUSE WINE!!! I expect better value in France (live in Midi half the year) though the service was excellent. No fresh coffee and stale croissants at breakfast, trademark of a hotel chain. Would stay at hotel again but not to eat there

Overall we were not happy with our stay. The bed sheets were stained, the restaurant was closed (due to flooding) and the breakfast was very expensive so we went to a Tabac instead. There was a birthday party at the hotel when we were there of around 150 people who were all fed but no residents were catered for. The whole experience was impersonal and we felt like 'units' rather than people. We certainly wouldn't stay again and would hesitate to stay at any hotels in the chain
