Salles Hotel Aeroport de Girona

I was very surprised when we got to the hotel. We had two criteria when looking for hotels, namely price and proximity to the airport when we had an early flight the next day. It appeared then that the cheapest hotel we found was one of the better hotels I've stayed at ever. Relation to price, it is undoubtedly the best purchase ever. The hotel has shuttle bus every half hour to the airport which is located about 5 minutes away and the driver drove us through the airport to withdraw money when there are no ATMs on site.

The hotel was chosen because of it's proximity to the airport and the "look" on the internet prior to booking. As we landed close to midnight we needed somewhere close by. We found the hotel to be very confortable, the staff friendly - even at midnight check-in, the design and decor pretty funky and the rates reasonable. Because of the positive experience of this hotel we chose to stay in Salles in Barcelona for the remaining 6 nights of our holiday and were impressed by that hotel as well. Would definitely recommend it.

Very nice and cheap hotel. Great breakfast. Pick up service from the airport. Otherwise a little bit too far to walk. Good connection to the city.
