As above the cleanliness, comfort and location were what I required and that was totally satisfactory.
I booked the hotel as we were doing two concerts in the region. I asked the duty manager on the last day if we could stay a little bit longer in the room. But this was refused totally out of hand! This will be my last stay at the Mercure in Perigueux.

Runs efficiently staff. Speak good English. Excellent breakfast, back into two types, "economy'en" first class ".
Signage to the hotel is very inadequate, especially given the complicated situation. Staff a bit cold and barely friendly. And again that thick winter blankets in the spring.
