Location. Mostly pleasant staff

All food was served COLD. To cook food and serve it cold, even at the beginning of service, takes some doing but the kitchen at La Zenia does it every day. As I was on half-board, this was a massive disappointment. For most people good food and meals are a highlight of their holiday. La Zenia fails badly in this respect. Poor TV system in room and ridiculously expensive add-on charges for films etc. Internet connection down for almost entire week with no-one able to say, or to care, about when it might be restored. Telephone in room is as far away from bedside as is possible. Also, not information on how to get an outside line or make international calls. One elevator out of order for entire week. La Zenia is expensive (€367.50 for 7 nights)and for that guests should at least be able to expect good meals, served hot. Definitely not worth a 4 star ranking
