Bonsaï Hotel Orleans

Easy to reach / good breakfast, one of the beds was skewed. Had booked a family room. Outer of the two chambers could not be locked. Evening reported to reception, someone would come and watch. Unfortunately anyone, so not as quiet sleep.

Simple hotel, ideal for an overnight stay overnight. Breakfast is comprehensive with ham and cheese. This is an improvement over last year. Small breakfast room. Especially if you come with 3 children. Very friendly receptionist.

My experience with Bonsai Hotel was to say the least a very bad one. I arrived at the hotel on february 2nd shortly after 21.00hrs. to find the the reception closed. On entering into the auto-machine your booking code and pin number the machine refused to recognise my booking, after several futile attempts I then tried booking in as a new guest, this was also refused. I booked into a nearby Hotel (successfuly!) and the following morning returned to the Bonsai to explain what had happened. The receptionist comfirmed there was a booking on his data base, and apologised, it was not a problem, I did not have to pay. Apart from the the inconvenience, I was then horrified to find on returning this month to the UK to find my bank account had been debited £32.69 for the experience!

Good hotel for the price offered, no luxury, no atmosphere but everything there is to be there. breakfast at least
