Even though the hotel was having major refursbishment done during out stay, the staff went out of their way to be extra helpful; giving directions to places of interest and travel directions. Even the cleaners helped out with information. The hotel was perfect in both location, price, quality of food and good friendly staff. I would recomend a Mercure hotel to anyone. Brilliant!.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom facilities perfectly adequate for the price. I liked the fact that I could make tea and coffee. Staff were helpful and cheerful.
The pillows smelled a bit old and the breakfast did not look very exciting (I decided to eat elsewhere).

Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Good TV and media facilities. Room was serviced later in the day even though we didn't go out until after midday.
