Novotel Suites Nice Airport

Very nice and clean hotel, great family room and even a bath, which are particularly pleased. We are looking for htoellia next to the airport and this was really well placed in relation to the airport.

The van driver refused to pick us up at the car rental return at the airport. We had to walk to the mail terminal to call the hotel shuttle. We deciced to take a taxi back to the hotel, but since the hotel van only runs on the half hour. The taxi driver refused and told us to take the city bus. We got off the bus, but still could not find our hotel. Had to go into another hotel to call the Novotel to send the van for us.

The room had a fridge, kettle and microwave so you could use it like a self catering apartment.

Reception staff at check was not terribly helpful,no one mentioned the facilities to us at check in for example the gym, what floor it was on, opening times, restaurant times or breakfast options. I just got handed the room card and told nothing more.Didnt feel valued as a customer. The hotel was at least 15minutes walk from the start of the promenade and on the website it states 5 mins. The room was not cleaned, towels changed etc on day 2 so when I contacted reception to ask I was told it was every 2nd day but we were not made aware of this on check in.However this info was incorrects as on subsequent days the room was cleaned. Tissues were never replaced in the bathroom and there was a continuous smell of sewage in the bathroom. I had asked for assistance with the keyboard for the internet as I was not used to french keyboard and I was told by reception that they were not experts in computers and therefore could not offer any help. I only wanted t know which keys to press to find the @ symbol.

The room was large and delicious. Everything worked including air conditioning. Shuttlebil to the airport was also a plus and that is right at the train station Nice St. Augustin

The distance to the center, but we were aware of. We ordered it deliberately, given that we were to fly home the next morning and requested large room because of summer programs at low cost.
